Christmas 2007

It's not quite December but Christmas is on my mind. Maybe on yours too. Already the calendar is filling up with a cookie exchange, an open house invitation, a city Christmas party for the library staff....and I wonder why I didn't start making gifts in July, paying attention to what people in the family expressed an interest in, eliciting such declarations subtly as occasions presented themselves or were created by yours truly. So the desperation has set in a little...and this is an effort to change that.
